At the “Select Folder For 64-bit VST Plugin” step select the VST plug-in path on your system to install Omnisphere into. By default the 64-bit plugin will be installed in C:ProgramData Steinberg vstplugins but you can choose a different path (your host must support 64-bit plug-ins.). With the Go 'drop-down' menu up on the screen hold down your 'alt' key on your keyboard to 'unhide' the Library folder. Select the Library folder and double-click the 'Application Support' folder. Where to place the Patches: Now locate your 'Spectrasonics' folder and go to 'STEAM', 'Omnisphere', 'Settings Library'. Open Omnisphere and you will be prompted to locate the STEAM folder. Browse and select the new STEAM folder (you might see some error messages, but close these messages and continue to the final step). The link to the new location has now been created. Close and re-open Omnisphere for the changes to take effect. Look in the Steam/Omnisphere/Settings Library/Patches/Factory folder. Those are you Factory sounds. I have 8 in there, you may have less. With less than 19 third party libraries these will al be visible in the Omni browser. As you increase past 19 they will disappear from the Omni browser one by one. 'omnisphere steam folder doesnt exist' im trying to install the bob moog tribute library for omni and its telling me my steam folder does not exist? Even though it there someone please help this is so frustrating.
Omnisphere 2 Won' T Select Steam Folder On Computer
Omnisphere 2 Won 27 T Select Steam Folder Code
Hi!
I have installed Omnisphere on my MacBook Pro CoreDuo using an external drive for the library. The installation failed two times, now after having installed it a third time at least the size of the files on the external drive seem to be right. I followed very carefully the instructions in the manual.
When I open Omnisphere in Logic 8 (last update installed) i get a message:
Cannot open Multi /users/hauke/Library/application support/Spectrasonics/Steam/Omnisphere/Defaults/default.mlt_omn
I have downloaded the updates and installed them... no help at all, same mistake.
I have no idea where to look for the mistake. Does anyone have any idea? Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Hauke
